The National Trade Fair on Wine (FENAVIN), organized by the Provincial Government of Ciudad Real, will be holding its ninth edition on the dates of May 9th to the 11th of 2017, reaching a true record of participation on this occasion. This is thus proved by the 1,800 exhibitors, shared out between wineries, cooperatives, large companies and Regulatory Boards, which have already registered, while another 400 are on a waiting list, all awaiting their visit to the hub of the wine business in Spain. The secret behind the success of this calling resides in having turned into the literal hub of the wine business in Spain. Whoever is in search of a Spanish wine will indeed be able to find it at FENAVIN and they are more than aware of this, as the Trade Fair offers absolutely all the necessary tools to facilitate contacts and business between buyers and vendors. The world of wine bunches together at this trade fair that offers wine products from all the country’s regions, along with the latest novelties in the world of wine and the essential classics that are to be found in the sector. 278,000 commercial contacts and 97,522 visits were recorded during the last edition. FENAVIN is a powerful brand that attracted a total of 15,200 buyers from 65 different countries in the 2015 edition. Our tools, such as the Business Searcher, with which buyers can look for the product or the winery according to their needs, provides the buyer with the possibility of handling the entire Trade Fair’s offer. Likewise, the "Contact With…" program is another of those tools that represent the soul of the trade fair and that give rise to encounters and meetings between buyers and vendors. This program, truly a successful forerunner, puts the contacts offered by the Trade Fair at the distance of a mere “click” for those that know what they are looking for. At the Wine Gallery, one of the most emblematic of FENAVIN’s spaces, 11,280 bottles of wine were uncorked so that the professionals would have the opportunity to efficiently and uninterruptedly try out the wines they were interested in. The design of the Wine Gallery is aimed at professionals, in which a part of the national wine offer that is on display at the fair can be found. And of course, FENAVIN would not be where it is without the Program of Activities, which not only includes training sessions and lectures in which the know-how on exporting to different countries is duly shared, but also all the latest marketing trends and new technologies to optimize the business of selling wine. Likewise there are a series of different spaces in which important personalities from the worlds of literature, film, sports, health and the media all come together to transmit their passion for the culture of wine and the added value that its moderate consumption can provide to one’s life.
